Method: All guitars are shipped via EMS. For those who don't know, EMS is the International Postal System's answer to UPS and FedEx. EMS is the absolute cheapest, fastest, and safest way to ship. If requested, I can use UPS/FedEx, but please be aware that to most locations, their prices are prohibitively expensive.
Cost: For most of the guitars I sell, I charge a flat shipping rate of US$99.00.. The actual cost is more than that, but I pay the difference. Some heavier guitars or guitars shipped to some locations will require more postage. In that case, the shipping cost will be higher, but it will still be less than the actual cost. You NEVER pay the full amount. How about that?
Insurance: Every single guitar I ship is fully insured. In many cases, the guitars are OVERINSURED. Regarding customs value declaration, please contact me.
Customs: As the majority of the guitars I sell are made in the USA, buyers in the US need not worry about paying ANY customs tax, VAT, import duties, etc. US customers also need not worry about paying tax on non-US made guitars. There is a way around that. I handle everything. Buyers in other countries may be responsible for the applicable taxes in their respective countries. If you have any questions, please contact me.
Tracking: Within several hours of your guitar being shipped, you will be supplied with full tracking information. The EMS Japan tracking website is EXCELLENT.
